Uses Active Learning vs. “Chalk Talk.”
Teaches EMPLOYABLE SKILLS.

Critical thinking, creativity and decision-making
Integrate traditional subjects.

GRADE 6, 7, 8 V.E.S.T.

Grade 6 is the fundamental skill development year. They learn the technical skills and do 2 projects. In Grade 7 they develop these skills further and work on larger projects. Grade 8 is a culmination of their previous years with 1 large major project.

THEIR FUTURE

Students will progress into the Integrated Technology 
Concepts (I.T.C.) program for Grade 9, and 
then on to Integrated Systems Technologies 
(I.S.T.) in Grade 10 through Grade 12.  
These programs are intended to progress 
seamlessly while drawing on the students’ 
math and science skills as well as their
creativity. Students will acquire skills that are 
necessary in today’s fast-paced, team oriented, 
technologically-advanced work place.
